 MYDOLLS RAGDOLLS

I now live in the town of Huntly Aberdeenshire with my husband Ady,  and our ever increasing family of gorgeous ragdolls and more recently three adorable sphynx who I will introduce to you on the following pages.

I came face to face with the stunning ragdoll on a visit to friends a couple of years ago.I was instantly smitten by their outstanding beauty and totally laid back approach to life.
I decided that I would really like to own and breed these wonderful cats and so it began: endless reading, surfing the net and speaking to as many breeders as possible.

More recently, I developed an interest in the rare (in this country) lilac and chocolate colours. After much research, I eventually had to go outside the UK for my first lilac girl -Lilly - she does not have the Balinese outcross in her pedigree !
My new stud boy Kai, carries chocolate, so he is a perfect mate for Lilly in order to develop this aspect of my breeding programme.Kai also, has no balinese in his pedigree.

We now have a sister site for our sphynx            www.sphynx4u.co.uk

UPDATE FERUARY 2011

WE NOW HAVE OUR VERY FIRST CHOCOLATE KITTEN FROM  LILLY AND KAI - EXCITING TIMES !!!!!

Although Ragdolls are one of the larger domestic cats, they are the most placid affectionate cats that you are are ever likely to come across. They will follow you everywhere seeking out human company and lots of cuddles. My gang are always there to greet me when I have been out.
I also had a secret desire (and was curious ) about the sphynx cat.
When I began searching the books once again for a second breed of cat - I always came back to the sphynx - now i have two girls and Milo, my stud boy and have never regretted my decision to own and breed these wonderful cats. Totally different to the ragdoll, however equally charming, affectionate and funny !

The trademark of the ragdoll is the stunning blue eyes and their floppy body (hence the name)
Ragdolls are available in four colours, seal, chocolate, lilac and blue, though the chocolate and lilac are very hard to come by.There are new colours being introduced, red and cream.
The pattern of the coat is either colourpoint, mitted or bi-colour and again new patterns emerging are tortie and tabby.

Ragdolls make absolutely super pets that are best kept indoors. For more detailed information on this exotic breed I can recommend the PRBCC .
I can honestly say that a Ragdoll wil be your trusted friend for life.
